These two nebulae are located in Camelopardalis, but near to the Cassiopeia/Perseus border, and just 4 degrees east of IC 1848. They reflect the light of two 5th magnitude stars (the brightest stars in the image above) which are separated one degree apart. While vdB 14 is a pure reflection nebula, vdB 15 also has a pink-colored emission component. Both are faint and not easy to observe visually.
